BIMAXIM aka Maxim Biljarszki is an artist and design studio and musician based in Budapest, Hungary. His main focus is on combining visuals with audio, and motion sensors to create immersive, multi-sensorial, interactive experiences.

 

Maxim received his BA from Budapest Metropolitan University in Media Design in 2015. Since 2016 he is lecturing at METu Media Design department in a variety of fields including graphic design, motion graphics, VFX and projection mapping.

 

In 7+ years of freelance and personal work, he was involved in plenty of exciting projects form various fields. He created interactive motion sensor installations with immersive projections. He is the leader of the audiovisual electronic music band, PsyPorn. He is co-creator of the interactive new media theatre play, Homokember. He performed at a TEDx Budapest an interactive music piece involving the whole audience in the music piece. He made music videos as both director and animator/VFX artist. He has been VJ-ing for bands on Budapest’s biggest venues. He won prices on international architectural projection mapping competitions.
